Good for keeping up with sports!

Needed to keep up with the latest sports news and The Hindu delivers. I got a digital plan and the discount code applied fine at checkout. I usually read it on my tablet. Compared to some others like The Times of India, the sports section here is pretty comprehensive. Payment was super easy with my credit card.

Fantastic Premium Access

I just got the Premium Digital Access and it's incredible! The range of articles, the archive access, and the ad-free experience are exactly what I was looking for. It's so easy to navigate through everything, and the app works flawlessly. I'm telling all my friends about this, I'm definitely going to renew next year!

Mostly good, delivery was slow

I ordered the Print Edition a couple of weeks ago. The newspaper itself is high quality, as expected from The Hindu. However, delivery took 5 days to reach my address in Denver, which was a bit longer than I anticipated. Customer service was polite when I enquired, but they couldn't speed it up. Overall, satisfied with the content, but logistics could use a little improvement.

Good value digital subscription

I was looking for a good news source and found The Hindu's Digital Subscription. Got it during their annual discount season, which brought the price down quite a bit. It felt like a solid deal for a full year of access. Definitely worth the money for the content provided.

Consistent quality, as always

This is my third year with The Hindu's Digital Subscription. I've always found their reporting to be very consistent and reliable. This year's renewal was just as smooth as previous ones. I keep coming back because I trust their editorial content, especially for current affairs. No surprises, just solid journalism.

Smooth experience with UPSC Prep material

I subscribed for the UPSC Prep Material and was quite impressed. The sign-up process was straightforward, and I received my access details within minutes. The articles and analysis are very in-depth, which is crucial for exam preparation. I particularly liked the 'Editorial and Opinion' sections linked to the prep material. The interface for 'Archive Access' was also helpful for looking up older relevant news. I haven't needed customer support, so can't comment on that, but the digital content quality and accessibility are top-notch.

It's decent for current affairs summaries, but don't rely solely on it.

Quick question about payment options for The Hindu. Is it just credit cards or can you use like PayPal or something else? Just wondering what my options are before I commit.

P Paula 3 months ago
I paid with my credit card, but I'm pretty sure they take a few different methods. Not sure about PayPal specifically for the US site though, you might want to double-check their FAQ.

E Emma 3 months ago
When I signed up, I remember seeing options for debit cards and some net banking stuff, which might not be relevant for US users. Afaik, credit cards are always an option. Don't think I saw PayPal but my memory isn't perfect.
